Cross Crawl Brain Gym(r) exercise – move your left hand or elbow and right knee together and vice versa

Last week a young business man came to me as he was having difficulties to find the point of starting to implement with his many ideas and inspirations for his startup.

The cross crawl is a beautiful exercise as it helps and stimulates our two hemispheres to work together. It stimulates the information transfer between the hemispheres via the Corpus Callosum (nerve string connecting them). Like this we enjoy the characteristics of both – the right hemisphere, which is more creative, innovative, seeing the bigger picture AND the left hemisphere, which is more seeing the details, one step after the other, getting started. Try it out and enjoy not only having ideas and inspirations but also getting started implementing them! I do the cross crawls for example after getting up in the morning, before starting my computer work or when I realise I have sat for a long time with little cross-lateral movement.

 

Moonday Magic are little bodyworks and kinesiology exercises that you can gift your self  to start the week ahead full of energy, inspiration, joy and movement.  Its the moon, that gives the feminine in ourselves energy.
