Bodyluscious: ‘Chilled Cuecumber’ – our salad of the season

There is nothimg more refreshimg than a chilled cuecumber salad on a hot summer day like this. (see recipe below πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ˜Š)

I prepared this one in super slow mode, adding all my love and attention to it. The ingredients are quite simple, yet I took my time as self-care measure for myself. And you can so taste this!

I recently went through a month of ‘no meat’, which got me all confused and out of concept with my food routines and had me end up taking quite bad care of myself food wise…

The problem thereby was not really to skip on the meat but rather to change my diet routines in one of the busiest seasons of the year.

Because No. 1: my body needs time and space to adjust to alternative energy sources – which I did not really provide, I rather expected it to function in this super intense project phase I am in at the moment.

No. 2: I need time to adjust my diet routines into my work life – which I equally did not make space for.

Both of which I know. And ignored, getting caught up in wanting to push through with my head without priorly consulting my body.

As usual it was my body putting a hold to my not really caring but expecting 200% performance… I ended up beimg completely low on energy.

And so I tuned in, listend and started to practice slow cooking. More on that in one of our upcoming Bodyluscious featrues πŸ™‚

For now enjoy this refreshment:

You need

Cuecumber

Almond oil

White vinigar

Agave sirup

fresh herbs parsley, schnittlauch, other

Prepare the dressing to taste, adding equal amounts of oil, vinigar and agave sirup.

Slice the cuecumber into super thin slices, the thinner the better.

Add the fresh herbs. Mix everthing in a bowl. Ready to enjoy. Bodylucious!
